MAEL keeps its qualifications under continuous review. Reviews are based on:
• Responses to annual reports to external moderators
• Feedback from learners and centres
• Changes in the legislative or regulatory environment
• Any complaints received
• Any revision of, or modification to, a regulatory document or framework
• Any issues giving rise to any adverse effect.

MAEL keeps under review, and modifies or enhances where necessary, its approach to the development, delivery and award of qualifications, so as to assure that its approach remains appropriate.
MAEL will, at all times:
* have due regard to all information, comments and complaints received from users of qualifications in relation to the development, delivery and award of qualifications,
* identify and give due regard to any credible evidence which suggests that a change in its approach to the development, delivery and award of qualifications is required in order to ensure that the approach remains appropriate.
* where an event (or an event, of which MAEL is or should be aware, relating to any other awarding organisation) has had an adverse effect, MAEL will review. and revise where necessary, its approach to the development, delivery and award of qualifications to ensure that its approach remains appropriate.
* maintain a commitment to ensuring that any qualification which it makes available, or proposes to make available, complies with any relevant requirement which is set out by a regulatory authority.
* ensure that in the development, delivery and award of any qualification which it makes available, or proposes to make available, it has due regard to any guidelines and principles of good practice relating to that qualification which are set out by a regulatory authority.
