John Clarkson was a member of the MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) on-site verification team which visited the teacher preparation programme at the Duhovka Institute in Prague, Czech Republic, from November 14th-18th, 2013.   The team checked (in order to verify) all the claims made in the Institute’s submission, a verbal report was given to the Institute directors and the full report sent to MACTE for consideration by their board.  The photo shows one of the pre-schools owned by the Duhovka group, which is situated in a converted brick factory on the banks of the Vltava River, close to the Charles Bridge.
